Simple, efficient and fast, our fulfilment process is facilitated by a team focussed on attention to detail. Once we’ve set up your account in the Order Management System (OMS) your store can be integrated, and stock can be sent to one of our four warehouses. We check stock as it arrives with us, repackaging if necessary, and logging it on the system so you have real-time access to stock levels.
Depending on the items received, and how you intend to ship them, we’ll store them as individual items, cartons or pallets. As we log each item as we receive it, we can guarantee that you’ll only pay for the stock that’s in our warehouses to be stored.
Our OMS is optimised to integrate with several leading eCommerce platforms, meaning when we receive the customer’s order, we can pick and pack promptly. We offer a range of packing and wrapping services at this stage. Based upon a pre-agreed cut off point, we guarantee same day despatch to the courier or delivery service.
We ship with Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, Yodel and APC overnight, depending on the requirements of the consumer. Trackable shipping with reputable partner services ensures your product reaches the customer exactly as you intended.
Onboarding, or moving your eCommerce fulfilment to our OMS, is carried out by our team and begins with logging your products. Product descriptions, weight and dimensions, SKU and EAN codes, as well as alternatives via different platforms, are all stored. We also map the delivery options you offer, so that your customers receive the service they expect.
API integration sets up the OMS with platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify and WooCommerce, in order to collate all your order sources. We then undertake test runs of orders to make sure that the OMS is receiving the right orders.
We create a user account so that you can access information stored in the OMS, with a range of user preferences, permissions, reports and notifications which are confirmed with you beforehand, so that your system works for you.
To make sure you can take advantage of the features of the OMS, we carry out a web-based demonstration of our system with a step-by-step guide. This is supported by documents that you can refer back to as you get used to the system, and a list of contacts within Whitehouse Solutions.
We build in a review within three months of the handover from the onboarding team. This helps to ensure that you are happy with the OMS, and our services as a whole.
